About Us

The New Testament was translated into Yiddish by Henry Einspruch, and first published in 1941 as Der Bris Khodeshe. This project wants to revitalize Einspruch's translation by making it available digitally for the first time.

At the moment you can read several Bible books in Yiddish and Hebrew. The Hebrew translation of the New Testament is taken from the Salkinson-Ginsburg, first published in 1886. Other Bible books are forthcoming.
